Financial Planner
Steve joined FP in 2006. He spent 10 years at Target Corporation in Finance and Marketing before entering the financial planning business in 2000. Steve received a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, and Psychology from the University of Minnesota. As a Financial Planner, Steve works closely with clients to build trust by providing thorough development, execution, and monitoring of all elements of the financial planning process. In an industry that can be complex and intimidating, there’s nothing that Steve enjoys more than hearing a client say “when you explain it like that…it totally makes sense to me”. Steve holds FINRA Series 7, 63 and 66 securities licenses.
Steve, his 15 year old son Luke, and his German Shepard Tahoe, live in Shorewood, MN. Luke has developed into a talented hockey and baseball player, so most of Steve’s spare time is spent at the rink or the baseball field. He started coaching hockey in 1985 and continues to coach and play today. Steve is proud to call many of his ex-players, current clients, and has enjoyed watching them build families of their own. Playing tennis or golf, riding his bike, working in the yard, or travelling, are where you’ll find Steve when he needs time to “relax”.
